Version 1.0.1 of WText is now available. This is final software and seems to be working just fine. Remember that WText will work with any version of WASTE. I, Timothy Paustian, tested the code against WASTE 2.0b3 and WASTE 1.3.

For those looking for a solid, but less feature laden text engine. CWASTEEdit is still available. Note this version is discontinued and no longer supported. It will need updates to work with CW Pro 6. In other words, use WText instead.

To download WTextView, go to the project page and click the word "Download" on the line with the name of the most recent release. Then, click on the name of the hilighted .sit.hqx file.

You'll also find a companion project which implements the interactive spelling checker for OS X WTextView projects, contributed by Richard Buckle.
